Volkswagen steering lock problem is one among the foremost frequent problems in Volkswagen Passat (B6 / B7). Dealer need to order new steering lock and program it which is just too much costly and time wasting.
VW Electronic Steering Lock Emulator will fix your steering lock malfunction error. VW ESL ELV Universal Steering Lock Emulator will bypass VW ELV always.
Must store IMMO DATA, ESL_ID and KEY_ID before usage.
Installation Steps:
1. Remove the comfort of the car located in front of the first passenger seat. The key should be taken out from the ignition slot before removing the comfort.
2. Simple programming steps needed and it will work.
1). Read the EEPROM ST-M95320 in the comfort by any device supporting it. (XHorse VVDI Prog, Orange5 Programmer...)
2). Save that dump file and write it on the EEPROM of the VW Passat B6/B7 ELV Emulator.
3. Connecting the OBD2 Port and original ESL and Passat ESL Emulator by using VW Passat B6 Emulator Connection Adapter and for synchronization, the green and red LED start flashing for 2-3 minutes and then the green LED lights alone.
4. Plug VW Passat ELV Emulator in the place of the original ELV.
5. Install the comfort back to its place.
6. Car will start successfully.
Note:
2. Needs to be connected to the old original ESL for programming. You can remove old original ESL after programming is completed. Successful programming means IMMO Off of the car.
3. Car can be started without valid transponder key. You can start car by using any suitable key blank which simply fits into the key slot.
